Mission Statement
The Childrey Deliverance Foundation, 501c3 Tax Exempt Education Organization formed six years ago in memory of (Johnny C. Childrey) formed to teach economically disadvantaged individuals about the proper uses of the tool called credit, residential home acquisition and help existing homeowners avoid foreclosure. We are dedicated to the acquisition and rehabilitation of dilapidated residential (HUD) homes, fighting rising costs of Homeowners Insurance Premiums and Excessive Property Taxation. We intend to give grant money through our down payment assistance program to Detroit Residents who are qualified to receive a business loan or mortgage and are willing start a business or fix up a dilapidated residential (HUD) home within the borders of the City of Detroit. It's the idea that ownership brings wealth.

Mission
The Childrey Deliverance Foundations Mission is clear and we have a plan to help the city take swift action to combat the economic void and foreclosure crises. Our Organization has chosen to partner with Community Organization The Detroit We Win Initiative filed with the Mayors Office, in helping to father over 400 New Block Clubs throughout the city of Detroit. The Childrey Deliverance Foundation in conjunction with Detroit We Win Initiative have established the Project Deliverance, Detroit Metropolitan Metamorphosis Housing Proposal that will be providing programs to reduce the number of foreclosed homes in Southeast Michigan.

Our goal is to affect change in our low cost housing market and regain social and economic ground lost in Southeast Michigan by the loss of employment, the loss of wage, and loss of Real Estate due to the overwhelming decline of knowledge and education in the areas of Credit Repair, Financial Literacy and New Home Ownership. In fact, all of this has been due to the loss of a once economically thriving Working Middle Class and even the recent statistical growth sprout of a new Homeless or The Lower Class Sector that is simply in need of the interim knowledge and education base necessary to empower themselves to succeed to new levels of financial independence, financial literacy, and individual as well as household Economic Development.

Mission
The assignment is to jumpstart our Local and National Economy by creating Community Revitalization through utilizing the tool of Education to foster a sense of new mobility in a Society and Working Economy, nearly halted by the financial devastation of Foreclosure, Homelessness, Unemployment, and Systematic & Perpetual Downsizing that has continued year after year.

The State of Michigan has experienced enormous economic hardships due to the down sizing of its major economic source, the Auto Industry, specifically the big three auto companies, Ford General Motors and Chrysler Corp. The traditional way of handling economic business in this region will not work in this economy. The regions economy is at a stand still and there is a need to provide economic stabilization through out the entire region by stimulating new economic and home ownership opportunities.

Mission
Detroit has an abundance of empty abandoned dilapidated storefronts, commercial buildings and homes. All of these unused assets could be put to use to generate cash flow and the jobs needed to cut the cities unemployment rate and bring the city out of a deficit situation. The region has a lack of employers compared to the population base and the community organizations and leaders have to develop a progressive plan to utilize all available, abandoned storefronts and commercial builds to foster a new entrepreneurial climate in the region by encouraging the population of the region to make their own employment.

The housing market as it stands in the Detroit Metropolitan Region of the State of Michigan is abysmal at best in that the city municipal government has ruled to shut down whole parts of the city of Detroit where vacant abandoned houses due to foreclosure supersede those of regular homeowners. Instead of reducing the number of houses in the Detroit Metropolitan area, programs to increase affordable housing need to be created to stimulate population growth. The City of Detroits budget crises would be alleviated if affordable housing programs were installed. The more individuals the city has working and living within its borders, the more house holds the city has to collect an affordable portion of taxes from. The increase in population would bring an increased in Economic Stimulus Funding from the Federal Government
